Know the date ideaThe knowledge cutoff is the date the AI's learning material ends. After that date, the diary has no pages. Our plain-English wording of the term.
Look for the dateSome model pages list the cutoff. Check there instead of guessing.Try: Search for the model's name plus "knowledge cutoff".Not every model lists one.
Check if search is onSome AIs can search the web for newer information. Check your app's help page to see if it can search the web.It depends on the app. Not every AI has it.
Treat fresh topics with careNews, prices, scores, and new products change fast. Double-check them on a trusted news site or official page.General good practice.
Paste in what's newGot a new article or note? Paste it into the chat and ask about that text. The AI can then use it.Try: "Here is today's article. Summarize it in three bullets."General good practice.
